Stuart DeVries

Stu was raised on a pig farm, earned a degree in agricultural economics at the University of Guelph and got to know many producers in his 7.5 years of marketing hogs at Ontario Pork. He has been managing Total Swine Genetics since 2002 and is now a partner in the business.  Stu’s farming roots give him an understanding of TSG’s customers and their business reality. He knows well, the impact of good reproductive results on the farm’s bottom line. In his years with TSG, he has acquired knowledge from many leading genetic and reproductive specialists. Helping TSG customers to troubleshoot and improve on-farm results is an aspect of his work that he genuinely enjoys.
