Jim Magolski
Niman Ranch
Dr. Jim Magolski serves as the Senior Director of Hog Quality and Protocols for Niman Ranch and Coleman Natural Pork and has been with the Perdue family of brands since 2012. He is responsible for genetics, nutrition, pork quality, protocols, and compliance across the companies as well as oversight of the company sow farms.
Jim earned his bachelor’s degree in animal sciences from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, where he also managed the university’s farrow to finish swine operation for three years. From there he went to North Dakota State University and earned his Master’s and Ph.D. in meat science and muscle biology.
