Victoria (Seip) Eisses completed her undergraduate degree in Animal Science at the University of Guelph in 2016. In 2018 she completed her Masters degree in Epidemiology in the Department of Population Medicine at the Ontario Veterinary College under the guidance of Dr. Robert Friendship and Dr. Vahab Farzan. Her thesis focused on novel ways to improve nursery pig performance. Prior to and during her academic career, she worked in different areas of the swine industry, focusing on animal production and livestock feed.
Following graduate studies, Victoria has worked for Grand Valley Fortifiers as a Swine Production Improvement Specialist helping producers improve performance. Her main focus has been on creating the optimal, producer-specific, feed budget and strategies associated with improving nursery performance and profitability.
