Randy Drysdale (BES, FCIP, CRM, IRT III) is Assistant Vice President - Loss Control Technical Development at Farm Mutual Re in Cambridge, Ontario Canada.  

Randy began his insurance career in 1996 working for two small Mutual Insurance companies where he developed the Loss Control programs for both companies.  In 2001 Randy assumed the role of Insurance Risk Analyst for Ontario Mutual Insurance Association (OMIA) where he was directly involved in insurance-based training, development of insurance programs, policy wording development, and loss prevention training and development activities.

Randy joined Farm Mutual Re in 2004 to develop and manage the Loss Control Services Department.  Randy was promoted to the role of Assistant Vice President Loss Control Services in 2010 and was recently promoted to AVP – Loss Control Technical Development.  In this role Randy has direct control over the training and development of the Farm Mutual Re Loss Control team and is also responsible for providing training and development opportunities for the 85 Loss Prevention staff within the Mutual Insurers they serve.  Randy is also involved with advocacy and thought leadership activities related to working with provincial and federal governments to adopt changes to the various codes and standards that could impact properties insured with the Mutuals they reinsure.
